We need 25% of the Veranda homeowners to sign this petition (that's about 425 homes) and Fort Bend will erect signs in our neighborhood reinforcing the Texas Law that overnight commercial vehicle parking is illegal.
Oversized commercial vehicles - such as big box trucks and 18-wheel tractors (without the trailer) have been parking overnight in Veranda. These non-residents park in front of our resident's homes - blocking views, streets and traffic. Fort Bend County owns the roads, and we want them to help us stop this problem. If at least 25% of the Veranda homeowners sign this petition (that's about 425 homes) then Fort Bend will erect signs in our neighborhood reinforcing the Texas Law that overnight commercial vehicle parking is illegal. That gives homeowners more power when we call the Sheriff (or City of Richmond Police, if you live near 762) to report someone that is violating this law.
